lvAlarmSyncFailure

Added in 16.0.100

When the active license server cannot synchronize with the LumenVox Licensing Nodes on the Internet, an alert of this type will be generated.

The number of times synchronization failure has occurred will affect the notification severity. When less than 10 synchronization failures have occurred, the message will have MINOR severity. When 10 synchronization failures have occurred, the message will have CRIT severity.

In this example, the synchronization link between the Active License Server and the LumenVox licensing nodes in the Internet was severed due to a firewall restriction. This synchronization typically happens once every 24 hours, or whenever someone manually initiates a synchronization using the "Resync Info" button on the Licensing tab of the Dashboard

Note:

In order for synchronization failures from the active  LumenVox License Server service to be reported using this alarm notification SNMP feature, it needs to have its corresponding MonitorService setting configured as enabled (1).
