Installing the LumenVox Dashboard

Windows

For Windows users, the LumenVox Dashboard is part of the Speech Engine package. Please refer to the download and installation instructions for the Speech Engine package to install the LumenVox Dashboard. It needs to be started up manually after installation from Start Menu > All Programs > Lumenvox > Engine > LvDashboard.

It is recommended that the LumenVox SRE Server service be disabled on this machine if the Speech Engine is not going to be used on this machine.

To disable the LumenVox SRE Server follow these instructions

1. From the Windows Control Panel, choose Administrative Tools and then Services.
2. Look for "LumenVox SRE Server"
3. Right click, and select Stop
4. Right click, and select Properties
5. In the General tab, set Startup type to Manual

 

Linux

LumenVox Dashboard is a Windows only product. Customers with linux installations need to install the Windows Engine package on a Windows machine to get access to the LumenVox Dashboard. The LumeVox Dashboard can query Linux machines as well if the LumenVox Manager service is running on the Linux machine.
