Aculab Bundles LumenVox Speech Recognition Software to Offer Easy Speech Package for IVR Development

LumenVox Speech Engine support added in latest Holly service pack

Milton Keynes, UK and San Diego, CA (AUG 20, 2007) — Aculab, a leading provider of enabling technology for the communications market, and LumenVox, an innovator of speech recognition software, announced today the availability of "Easy Speech," a bundled development solution that includes a Prosody X media processing card from Aculab with VoiceXML/CCXML interpreter software and LumenVox's Speech Engine for automatic speech recognition.

Next generation speech-based applications can affordably be developed with "Easy Speech" by solution providers looking to either enhance their DTMF–based solutions or build speech–enabled Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems for the first time. The "Easy Speech" package provides all the components necessary to enable the cost–effective development of IVR solutions quickly and easily.

"Aculab is pleased to have partnered with LumenVox to deliver this beneficial package to the market," said Herman Abel, Product Manager at Aculab. "The package will assist with the rapid migration to speech–enabled IVR platforms and ensure that our customers can continue to deliver the products that are required."

"One of the values of "Easy Speech" is that it enables one–stop shopping for a company looking to get all the components necessary to develop compelling, high performance speech solutions," said Edward Miller, president of LumenVox. "We are particularly pleased to be working with industry-veteran Aculab to bring "Easy Speech" to the market."

Aculab is offering "Easy Speech" at an introductory price that is only available for a limited time. Interested developers should call Aculab at +1 781 433 6000, visit www.aculab.com, or visit LumenVox at booth 303 at SpeechTEK in New York this week (www.speechtek.com).
