LumenVox Announces Speech Engine v7.5 at SpeechTEK

New Version Features New and Improved Language Models and MRCP v2 Support

San Diego, CA (February 21st, 2007)

LumenVox, an innovator in speech recognition technology, announced today at SpeechTEK the release of version 7.5 of the LumenVox Speech Engine. This release encapsulates language models for Mexican and South American Spanish, Canadian French, and Australian English. In addition, the Speech Engine now supports v2 of the Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP), a protocol specifically designed to address the need for client control of media processing resources, such as speech recognition.

The Speech Engine v7.5 is a flexible API that performs speech recognition on audio data from any audio source on Linux or Windows. In an effort to support the widest range of operating systems, Sun SPARC Solaris support has also been added to the Speech Engine. Representatives from LumenVox will be available for product demonstrations at booth 402 at SpeechTEK and presenting at seminars and panels throughout the show.

SpeechTEK West runs February 21st-23rd, 2007 at the Hilton in San Francisco. For more information visit www.speechtek.com and www.lumenvox.com.
