LumenVox Chosen As Integral Speech Recognition Technology for Acclaim Telecom Services, Inc. IVR Solutions

San Diego, CA and Richardson, TX (July 11th, 2006) — LumenVox, an innovator of speech recognition technology, and Acclaim Telecom Services, Inc., a provider of enterprise Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions, today announced their partnership and plans to integrate the LumenVox Speech Recognition Engine into Acclaim’s Speech-enabled Business Solution suite.

“Since Acclaim announced our industry-leading address grammars earlier this year, customers have responded by creating new applications that were impossible with Touchtone ™ voice response systems, “ said James Davis, President of Acclaim Telecom. “We needed a speech recognition engine that could be used as a hosted address recognition server, in “out-of-the-box” solutions, and that could operate on Microsoft Windows ™ or Linux-based systems like Asterisk™. LumenVox was unique in offering the tools and flexible deployment methods we needed.”

The LumenVox Speech Engine performs recognition on audio data from any audio source, and allows for dynamic language, grammar, audio format, and logging capabilities. LumenVox's latest version, 6.6, introduces new acoustic models that benefit developers requiring high-accuracy speech recognition performance in an affordable, full-featured speech recognition software solution.

“LumenVox is proud to have our award-winning Speech Engine selected by Acclaim Telecom Services as an essential technology,” said Ed Miller, president of LumenVox. “Both companies have the goal of elevating a customer’s experience through the use of speech recognition technology, and Acclaim Telecom Services offers considerable experience in the area of improving customer relations through the use of IVR, as well.”
