LumenVox Wins Top Spotlight in Print, Video and Web PR Awards

San Diego, CA (NOV 23, 2004) — LumenVox announced today that The League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) named LumenVox's Speech Brochure as a multiple winner for the Top Print, Video and Web PR Materials Competition in the 2004 Spotlight Awards.

LumenVox's Speech Brochure was one of more than 850 entries accepted for the spotlight awards. The brochure was awarded the Platinum Medal for excellence in development in the Brochure category for companies with up to $100 million in revenues, the Silver Medal for Best Debut across all categories of competition for the past year, and ranked in the top 100 Publicity Materials of 2004 at number 60.

Chris Lotspeich, LumenVox's Director of Marketing and key contributor to the Speech Brochure states, "The recognition of these awards for our product brochure is a testament to the hard work and dedication our team has put forth to providing information and education about our company, product line, and the speech recognition industry. We view this brochure as a premier piece of educational material for any company interested in learning more about speech recognition."

LACP identified winners within peer–level competition classes through several hundred hours of judging. Competition classes were established to create the most level playing field possible between entries. Classes were determined according to company size, annual revenue, and other pertinent factors. Scores were derived according to a proprietary judging system developed by LACP, which assigns point values to various criteria of an entry. A composite score, based on a 100–point scale, was then determined by summing the results of all judging criteria.
