LumenVox and VoiceVantage Announce Partnership

San Diego, CA and Chicago, IL (SEPT 30, 2003) — LumenVox, a developer of speech recognition development toolkits, today announced a strategic partnership with VoiceVantage, a provider of proprietary voice authentication technologies. Under the terms of the partnership LumenVox will work with VoiceVantage's VoiceCheck™ Telephony and Web technologies as a value add for LumenVox's Speech Platform.

LumenVox's Speech Platform is a powerful speech application toolkit that sports an intuitive GUI interface that allows developers to quickly and easily design their call flow. Through dlls the Speech Platform can access any database to either obtain or enter in various types of information pertinent to the caller.

VoiceCheck™ is a language independent voice authentication technology that is a combination of advanced mathematics, database interface, and Application Protocol Interface (API). It enables application developers to incorporate biometric voice authentication into any security application across multiple platforms. Simply put, VoiceVantage's technology either "accepts" or "denies" a speaker's claimed identity by comparing a live voice sample to a previously enrolled voiceprint.

Ed Miller, President of LumenVox states, "The strategic partnership with VoiceVantage allows our customers to incorporate biometric voice print security into their applications. With the demand from organizations to have more secure and efficient solutions, the accessibility of voice verification software is an ideal match."
