LumenVox Wins Product of the Year

San Diego, CA (JAN 16, 2003) — LumenVox's Speech Platform, a user-friendly speech recognition toolkit was named Product of the Year by TMC Labs in the January 2003 Edition of Customer Inter@ction Solutions®.

"LumenVox's Speech Platform is a clear leader in the speech recognition sector. We're proud to reward their hard work and innovation with a Product of the Year Award for 2002," said Nadji Tehrani, Chairman of TMC and Founder of Customer Inter@ction Solutions®.

The Platform is an intuitive, drag-and-drop GUI wrapped around the company's Speech Engine. It greatly simplifies development of call routers, auto-attendants, IVR systems, customer service, kiosks, etc. Some of the features included in the Speech Platform are text-to-speech, natural language, Custom Action DLLs, access to databases.

According to Customer Inter@ction Solutions® Group Editor-in-chief, Rich Tehrani, the Speech Platform was selected because it demonstrates true innovation, which is the hallmark of Product of the Year winners.

"The Product of the Year award is meant not only to honor the outstanding teams who developed and manufactured the products on our winning list, but also to educate our readers on the vast array of offerings in this market. Choosing the winners was a difficult process, and the editorial team spent many hours studying the applications we received from vendors, as well as looking through materials we collected on our own over the past year."

Since being introduced in February 2002, LumenVox has won four other awards, including CT Expo 2002 Best of Show, Communications Solutions 2002 Best of Show, TMC Labs 2002 Editor's Choice and Innovation Award.
