Job Description — Software Engineer/IVR Developer

Work on developing and maintaining software systems in the ever–changing field of speech recognition, with an emphasis on computer to telephony interface software and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Program primarily in C++
• Work effectively within a small team of developers to create, improve and maintain applications that use speech recognition technology
• Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems
• Interact with customer support, QA and marketing teams to identify new features and potential bugs
• Full life cycle development including new development, design, maintenance etc.

Knowledge

• Solid programming experience in C/C++, specifically OOP, runtime analysis, and design
• Experience with IVR systems and computer telephony integration (CTI)
• Able to transfer technical knowledge to peers and management, as well as novices
• Able to troubleshoot complex issues involving multiple interrelated systems
• 4+ years experience in software development
