Job Description — Software Engineer

Work on developing and maintaining software systems in the ever–changing field of speech recognition technology. Help advance state–of–the–art, software–based, speaker independent software running on the Windows, Linux and Solaris OS.

Responsibilities

• Program primarily in C++.
• Work effectively within a small team of developers to create, improve and maintain applications that use speech recognition technology.
• Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
• Interact with customer support, QA and marketing teams to identify new features and potential bugs.
• Full life cycle development including new development, design, maintenance etc.

Knowledge

• Solid programming experience in C/C++, specifically OOP, runtime analysis, and design.
• Experience in multi–threaded programming, particularly back–end multi–core server environments.
• Able to transfer technical knowledge to peers and management, as well as novices.
• 4+ years experience in software development.
