Best Innovation in Speech Recognition

San Diego, CA (March 21st, 2007) –LumenVox, an innovator of speech recognition technology, announced today that its Speech Engine v7.5 has garnered the award for "Best Innovation in Speech Recognition" from the Applied Voice Input/Output Society (AVIOS), the speech recognition industry's professional society. Board members of AVIOS evaluated exhibitors and their products at SpeechTEK in various categories against criteria including creativity and utility.

Dr. Thomas Schalk, member of the board of directors for AVIOS and head of the awards committee said, "LumenVox’s Speech Engine won the award because of its support of additional languages, MRCP v1 and 2, and numerous Linux distributions. LumenVox has demonstrated its commitment to making the Speech Engine an innovative product, and are deserving of the award."
